Far from the hustle and bustle of city life, Hummingbird Nest is an oasis of tranquility and majestic beauty. Extending over 124 acres, the estate’s landscape transitions from the earth tones of the Santa Susana Mountain that surround it to the vibrantly colored blooms of the native plants lining its curbing roadways and lush green pastures.

  1. How much does a Hummingbird wedding cost?

    • Every wedding is different, and everyone has different budgets, but expect to spend a minimum of $70,000 for most Villa or Sitting Bull weddings.

  2. What’s included in the site fee?

    • 24-hour rental of the event space, from 8am to 8am

    • Bridal party dressing suite

    • Overnight 3 bedroom accommodation on property (Q Vineyard does not include overnight stay) 

    • Dumpsters on site for vendor trash disposal

    • Restrooms and restroom attendants during the event

  3. What time can our event end?

    • All events must conclude by 2am. However, music and/or noise must be within city noise ordinance and will be monitored by security to maintain a respectful volume for our neighbors. 

  4. Can I bring my own rentals to my wedding?

    • Hummingbird Nest offers a list of exclusive rental companies from which events are required to select their rental vendor. 

  5. Can I bring an outside caterer to my wedding?

    • Hummingbird Nest offers a list of exclusive catering companies from which events are required to select their catering vendor. We offer many diverse caterers, with many ethnic and Kosher options.

  6. Can I bring my own alcohol?

    • All alcohol and bartending service at Hummingbird Nest is provided by Brick and Brass Bar.

  7. Can we tour the property? 

    • Yes, by appointment only. Please contact our sales team to book your tour.

  8. Are deposits refundable?

    • No, a non-refundable deposit is required to book a date and is due at the time of the execution of your contract.

  9. Can I have candles/fireworks during my Event?

    • Candles must be presented in an enclosed container. No pyrotechnics, fireworks or smoke devices allowed without approval by Hummingbird.

  10. What do you consider Rentals? 

    • ​Rentals are defined as but not limited to: tables, chairs, linens, barware, glassware, silverware, dinnerware, dance floors, lighting, trellises, tents, generators and satellite kitchen.

  11. Security and Valet​

    • We do require security and valet, through exclusive companies as well, to be contracted separately at an additional cost
